|| Grace Ormond Book Signing event || At The Ashford Estate, Allentown, NJ

What an amazing night! We had the pleasure of attending the book signing for Grace Ormonde at The fantastic Weddings Of Distinction’s Ashford Estate in Allentown, NJ last night & wow do they know how to throw a party.  Thrown by none other than rockstar Jenny Orsini of Pampered Bride as well as Laura + Kara of My Belissima it was nothing short of a magical night.  We arrived with THE Jason Groupp who made the night extra special with his fab bow tie & quickly made our rounds through the throngs of wedding industry folks there.  I must say Laura, Rick, Chef Jack of Merri-Makers & Teri & her illustrious staff from Main St. Fine Catering did a very good job at keeping the masses fed.  It’s always a trip to see Michael & his better half Christina from Flowerful Events, who designed a spectacular asian themed set up in the ballroom of the Ashford.  It did seem like you couldn’t swing a dead cat without hitting someone who was in some way a photographer, there were cameras a plenty!  I hope I had enough product in my hair!  Karen of Magnolia is another fantastically talented event designer who we just love to work with.  Check out the images below & tell us what you think!

What a fantastic bride & groom. Lovina & I had a blast shooting this one & we even broke out my Dad’s vintage Hasselblad & some 120 chrome film (all you “photographers”, you know what that is right? haha) & cross processed it for some true PUNK ROCK COUTURE! Shot at one of our very favorite spots, I think the whole day was just perfect. Especially when not only is everyone entertained my overuse of ethnic hair products, but, Jason Jani of Sound Connection was on scene to provide the raging sounds to rock the party!  Its always a blessing when the one & only Lovina is accompanying us for a fabulous day of photographing fabulous people!

Another amazing wedding at one of the most exclusive properties.  Weddings of Distinction‘s Bonnet Island Estate.  We are just so in love with the ambiance & staff of the wonderful establishments of Weddings of Distinction.  Each and every time we are blessed enough to be at one we notice that everyone is treated like family.  Ginny & Megan are such awesome people & Laura, Rick & the entire Merri-Makers staff will go above & beyond to exceed your expectations.  Check out the perfectly pinkalicious designs by Michele of M.D.S Florist, soooo pretty!  Rockstar lighting designer Ray from Fenelli Design Group did not disappoint either.  Take a look at the killer textures his lighting does to the ceiling of the ballroom @ Bonnet. AND FILM… We used some fantastic cameras at this wedding.  Cameras that take skill & experience that I just find many of these new “photographers” will just never have the opportunity to acquire.  We were so blessed to be taught on film & love the creamy & emotional feel that our Hasselblad 500 gives us.  It just can’t be replicated in digital.  We also have a pretty rare camera called a Hasselblad Xpan.  The Xpan is a totally hip rangefinder camera capable of true panoramic images for the dynamic & radical vistas we love to capture! REAL PUNK ROCK COUTURE!!!
