It sure is Asbury Park Wedding blog day today. Carla & Anthony are a fabulous couple & Carla is like Asbury royalty. She happens to own Carla Gizzi Jewlery & Home both in Asbury Park & Red Bank, NJ. So being that she is pretty much the mayor of Asbury Boardwalk, we were blessed with privileges no other photographers are generally granted. We got INSIDE the back rooms of The Paramount & even inside the Carousel building! Check out the vintage Merry Go Round Horse we stumbled upon. By the way I don’t know ANYONE who gets to have the couples names up in lights on the marquis at Convention Hall!!!

The reception was held at The Berekeley OceanFront Hotel which as you know we simple adore. Entertainment provided by none other than PJ Windle’s Essential Sounds and hair & make-up by the uber-talented Tara & the Grrrrls from Hot Mess Studio! I included many images of our bride’s Dad who passed shortly after the wedding. He has such amazing character in his handsome face, don’t you think?

I know… I know! Â It’s been a while. Â With wedding season at a maddening pace plus just getting back from London & Paris, we have been pretty… well, whatever. Â Let me tell you the reason we are really writing, Liza + Matt’s amazing wedding!!!! Â This is Â going to be a long one! Â What an awesome couple. Â We have known Liza & her remarkable Dads Nick & Arnold for over 15 years! Â They are so wonderful. We started the day with Make-up by the one & only Tara & Marcie from HOT MESS STUDIO. Â After a beautiful ceremony at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, we hit the boardwalk & beaches for some awesome photography in Asbury Park NJ. Rain?!?!? Â Who cares, what would Breakfast at Tiffany’s” be without the rain! Â what a phenomenal wedding photo session in Asbury that day! We ended the day at THE PALACE AT SOMERSET with the phenomenally talented Jason Jani of SOUND CONNECTION ENTERTAINMENT Nick got his daughter’s name tattooed on him… awwww.I Don’t know what I said, but it looks pretty funny…Looks like it’s right out of a Fellini Film
I love every inch of Asbury ParkÂ Like the Heavens just started to smile… That’s right… A REAL rainbow… I have seen toooo many photographers putting in fake rainbows where they don’t belong lately!Jason & I match… awww we make a cute couple!Oh my… look at my ear thingy.. what the hell do I think I am Secret Service?!?! .
