At John Arcara Photography, wedding photography is more than a business—it’s a family legacy. Based in Red Bank, New Jersey, we are a second-generation photography studio specializing in luxury wedding photography and cinematic wedding films.
It all started in 1970 when John’s father began shooting weddings. By 1983, John was working alongside him, building a lifelong passion for storytelling through the lens. Today, John and his wife Lovina—a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology—lead a creative team that now includes their daughters Molly and Lilly, both trained in photography and working weddings since age 13.
Our style is a fresh blend of photojournalism, editorial fashion, and fine art wedding photography. We subtly direct without awkward posing, letting couples feel comfortable so they can shine. Our cinematic wedding films are candid, emotional and unobtrusive.
We’re known for our fun, down-to-earth energy and our keen eye for detail. From local celebrations across the Jersey Shore and NYC, to destination weddings, we've been as far north as Maine & as far south as Aruba! We bring a fashion-forward, modern aesthetic to every event.
